What products does Western General insurance provide?

Western General no longer provides insurance policies since the company has been liquidated. However, if you’re trying to learn more about an old policy, you may find some basic information about Western General’s previous products below.

Western General provided personal car insurance policies, including bodily injury liability, property damage liability, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. The company may also have provided collision and comprehensive coverage.

Western General also offered limited commercial car insurance for car dealers and collateral protection insurance for independent finance companies.

Should I buy Western General car insurance?

Western General car insurance is no longer available to buy. However, before the company went out of business, it may have provided basic car insurance to high-risk drivers.

However, Western General was not typically a company that experts recommended because it lacked the reputation of a larger company, and it got many bad customer reviews. The company’s financial situation was also questionable at times.
