  • Statistics do not differentiate between cars stolen and property stolen from cars.
  • Ratings are adjusted to reflect highly-targeted vehicles rather than commonly driven cars.

10. Nissan Maxima

It seems like Nissan has beefed up the security systems to keep the Maxima off of the most stolen cars in 2011 list.

Hopefully, for all Maxima owners, this trend continues, but thieves do love the options for breaking this car down and selling it one part at a time.
