This car insurance review is going to be a bit different from our other car insurance reviews.
That is because Generali Worldwide Insurance doesn’t sell auto insurance, making it impossible to comment on their car insurance options.
What Generali Worldwide Insurance Offers
Generali Worldwide is a subsidiary of the Generali Group, which was founded in 1931 in Italy. Generali Worldwide is available in 60 countries, including the US. They sell both personal and commercial insurance products, but not commercial coverage, around the globe.
Generali offers several insurance products. These products include:
- Life Insurance
- Disability Insurance
- Health Insurance
They sell financial packages to help individuals save for retirement. They also offer advice on planning for retirement so that you can choose the right products or investments for your specific situation.
Generali Worldwide has an AM Best financial rating of A+, which is excellent. In addition, their long-term outlook is stable with a projected long-term rating of AA-. What this means is that they have the financial means to pay their bills and claims.
If you are interested in buying car insurance from Generali Worldwide, you are out of luck.
However, their parent company Generali Group does have over 700 subsidiaries and several of them do sell auto insurance, it just isn’t under the Generali name.
In addition, these smaller companies will have their own financial ratings which you will want to look into before buying.
While Generali Worldwide is a good insurance company, they aren’t going to be the right choice for your personal car insurance.
