Therefore, it was placed in Receivership status by the Circuit Court of The City of Richmond in January of 2003.
It was handled by the State Corporation Commission and was eventually moved to liquidation status by June of the same year.
Three companies that reinsured their business through Reciprocal of America Reinsurance Company were:

- The Doctors Insurance Reciprocal
